Dr. Alicia Jackson
Naturopathic Doctor • Yoga Teacher
Hi, I'm Dr. Alicia Jackson, ND, the Chief Energy Officer of Analog Earth Healing Hubb. After a personal health scare prompted a career change, I found my purpose and established this holistic company, where I serve as a multidisciplinary healing artist. My practice is rooted in a combination of eastern and western methods, aiming to educate and heal my patients while empowering them to live better and healthier lives.
Why do you practice yoga and meditation?
Yoga and meditation are integral to my lifestyle, aligning me with my body's needs and fostering overall well-being. Yoga opens me to new experiences and helps create positive body habits that seamlessly integrate into my daily routine. Meditation is equally important; whether I practice it right after yoga or at a different time, I always find a moment in my day to sit in solitude, often outside in nature, letting the sun charge my body.
How has yoga served you as a woman?
Yoga has been a transformative force in my life as a woman. I initially approached it out of curiosity with a friend, unaware of the immense sadness it would help me release from my body. Over the years, yoga has supported me through physical changes and revealed my inner strength. It has allowed me to reconnect with my Divine feminine energy at every stage of my life, a profound gift I have given myself.

Ada Bishop
Nutritional Therapist • Fitness Instructor
Hi! My name is Ada Bishop. I am a mother, fitness instructor, avid reader, and cyclist. I enjoy connecting with my loved ones over delicious meals and enjoy quiet time by reading or going on a long bike ride. I love teaching group exercise classes and watching my clients become stronger physically and mentally.
As a nutritional therapist, NTP, I help women find confidence and joy in nourishing their lifestyles. I believe each woman has the ability to find self-love and fulfillment through movement and nutrition. In my practice I also teach women how to navigate the various phases of their cycle so they can nourish and move their bodies accordingly.
Why do you practice yoga and meditation?
As strange as it sounds, yoga has taught me how to breathe. I used to take small shallow breaths (hello stress) but yoga taught me to take deep intentional breaths.
How has yoga served you as a woman?
Before I became a fitness instructor, I found yoga as a way to return to movement after having children. I had a compromised abdominal wall and needed restorative movement. I started yoga to “get into shape” but found myself instead. I learned how to breathe and to find joy in balance and eventually hold challenging poses. I found community and a network of women who wanted to see me win in this new season of my life. It was truly a gift! Now I use yoga to complement my existing movement regimen and OPEN MY HIPS (hello restricted emotions). It’s time that is exclusively for me and acknowledge my own strength.
Tamika Caston-Miller
Trauma-Informed Yoga Educator • Urban Farmer • Conscious Community Builder
I am Tamika Caston-Miller (she/her), a trauma-informed yoga educator living the life of urban farmer and conscious community builder in Houston, Texas. I am the founder of The Ranch Houston and Ashe Yoga Collective, spaces dedicated to practices that are in service to collective healing and community repair through the lens of rest, resilience, and integration.
Yoga and I met in 1994 in college and became an integral part of my life a decade later. I’ve embraced yoga to move my body, cope with a chronic pain journey, heal, and regain mobility. Today I am driven by leveraging yoga to move people from traditionally marginalized communities beyond marginalized realities through truth-speaking, collaborative work, and collective rest. I aim to build intersectional, intergenerational, multiethnic communities in which radical compassion, agency, and self acceptance are normalized.
I often refer to myself as a "post-lineage” teacher in acknowledgment of meshing my own ancestral practices while attempting to honor yoga’s roots. I am in continual learning and work alongside other disruptors to build a more inclusive yoga community that transcends its history of discrimination based on caste, ethnicity, body size, and socio-economic status.
I enjoy seeing the lessons and teachings of yoga through its ancient philosophies and applying the principles to modern life; this is based on my understanding of yoga as a practice of right relationship with others, the planet, and Self. My teaching style would be described as intuitive, spacious, and inclusive, and is informed by those I count as my most influential teachers and mentors, Dr. Gail Parker, Tracee Stanley, Paul Grilley, Indu Arora, Jivana Heyman, and Judith Hansen Lasater. Specializing in trauma-informed Somatic Flow, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Yoga Nidra, Tamika invites you to slow down, pause, feel, rest, and build skills that will serve on and off the mat.
Specialities: Trauma-Informed Yoga, Somatics, Functional Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Yoga Therapeutics/MyoYin, Yoga Philosophy, Subtle Body
Why do you practice yoga and meditation?
I practice to have a set of skills that I may action when I need them on and off the mat.
How has yoga served you as a woman?
Today my answer is that the practices of yoga help to remind me that, although I sit at the intersection of several marginalized identities, I am able to create from a place of radical dreaming and live a life of joy and creative design. If you would’ve asked me 15 years ago, I would have said that it’s helped me embrace my body fully. Now that I am in the second half of life, that answer feels like a distant friend, which is a testament to the body neutrality that has been normalized in my psyche.
